Seven specs decide whether an LED fixture works in your RV: DC voltage range, fixture type, physical size and cutout, brightness in lumens, color temperature, dimming support, and IP rating for damp locations. Everything else is style. Run the list in order and the right fixture surfaces on its own.
- Voltage range. RV house lighting runs on 12V DC, and most replacements are labeled 12V DC. Some fixtures tolerate wider inputs — 12–24V DC, 10–24V, or even 10–85V DC — which helps if the RV’s system voltage varies.
