- Choosing the wrong temperature source. Using CPU temperature for a case fan that sits near the GPU can leave the GPU uncooled during gaming. Match the sensor to the component the fan airflows over.
- Forgetting to save. Your carefully tuned curves vanish on restart if you do not click the three-dot menu (top right) and choose Save Configuration. Do this once after setup.
