Mistakes That Ruin The Bond
Using adhesive as a general substitute for mortar is the biggest one. Adhesive systems in the cited specifications are for thin veneer, thin brick, or specific panel systems — never conventional masonry bedding and jointing. If the wall is structural, mortar is the material.
